Don’t be afraid to fall in love. It’s a scary idea, no doubt. Frightening, even - the idea of giving your all to someone who might not feel the same way. It’s scary to step outside your own comfort zone and reach out to someone that holds a special place in your heart. Rejection is terrifying, and ridicule is almost a given. But don’t be afraid to fall in love; its terrors are as plenty as its surprises. You’d be surprised that love is not always unrequited. You’d be surprised that making the first move is almost always worth it. Rejection serves as a teacher, allowing us to grow and learn from where we went wrong. Don’t be afraid to fall in love. It’s benefits outweigh its drawbacks. And only with love can we find the courage, strength, and endurance that we’ve slowly lost along the way.

It doesn’t even matter what the situation is; whether he tells you that he’s about to break up with his girlfriend, or that he is completely over her and wants to be with you. If he has a girlfriend, if he’s still in a relationship with her, learn some respect and back the fuck off. It’s not that hard.

I hate how I have to be the one that texts you everyday just so that we can talk. I hate the fact that if I don’t text you whatsoever than you won’t text me. What kind of friend are you? And if we do happen to talk, let’s see … you reply with one word. That really grinds my gears. That’s why we barely talk or why I keep my mouth shut and don’t tell you anything that’s happened in my life.
